Who We Are

Hi! My name is Dana Kyle and welcome to Mehan Flowers. My husband and I farm near Yorkton, SK. His family has been farming in the Yorkton area for over a century. We grow wheat, canola and now specialty cut flowers. I grew up on purebred and commercial cow/calf operation in SW Manitoba. I also spent over 13 years working in the agriculture industry. In 2020, I decided to “retire” from my off farm job to farm full time with my husband and his uncle. I wanted to add something to the farm, and made the decision to try cut flowers.

My main focus with the flower farm is to provide an experience through our u-pick evenings at the farm. I felt this was a great way to show people the different flowers that you typically can’t find in the greenhouse, and also allow our guests to be creative making their own arrangements.
